We’re excited to introduce Podio Premium Trial, a new in-product experience that gives eligible Freemium organizations a simple way to start a 30-day Premium Trial directly from within Podio. Users can start the trial from the Try Premium entry point in Podio and then explore Premium features during the trial period.

Podio offers a broad set of capabilities, and Premium Trial is designed to help organizations experience more of that value before making an upgrade decision. By giving temporary access to Premium features, including Workflow Automation, organizations can better evaluate whether a paid Podio plan is the right fit for their team and workflows.

What’s new!

Eligible Freemium organizations may now see a Try Premium option within Podio web app. Once enabled, the organization receives 30 days of Premium Trial access directly in-product, along with a trial banner showing the remaining days.

What’s included in the trial?

During the 30-day trial, eligible organizations get access to Podio Premium features, including Workflow Automation. Trial usage is governed by trial-specific limits, which are lower than a paid Premium subscription. Full details are available in our trial overview documentation and trial limits documentation.

Freemium is not changing

Freemium remains available as it is today. Premium Trial is an additional option for eligible organizations that want to explore more of Podio before deciding whether to upgrade.

What happens when the trial ends?

At the end of the 30-day trial, organizations can:

• Upgrade to Premium to continue using all the features they explored during the trial.
• Upgrade to another paid Podio plan, with the understanding that some Premium-only features may no longer be available on lower-tier plans.
• Return to Freemium. If an organization chooses not to upgrade, it must be brought back within Freemium limits before the trial ends. This may include removing data and reducing the number of users while the trial is still active. For more details, see our free version limits documentation.
