Pallabi Patnaik asked a question.
We are updating the Progress Podio pricing model to better support the way customers use and scale on Podio today.
For many customers, Podio is more than a work collaboration tool. It is also a platform for running business-critical workflows, integrations, and automated processes across teams. As usage grows, this update gives customers with higher-volume automation or integration needs a clearer way to add capacity, while continuing to support investment in platform reliability, usage visibility, automation capabilities, admin controls, and new innovation areas such as AI-powered features.
Beginning August 1, 2026, Podio will move to a hybrid pricing model that combines existing seat-based plans with optional prepaid usage add-ons for customers who need additional API or Workflow Automation capacity beyond the included base limits.

What is changing?
Podio will introduce optional prepaid usage add-ons for two areas of platform usage:
API throughput
Podio’s included API base limits are not changing. Podio will continue to include up to 1,000 API calls per hour. Customers on eligible paid plans, including Podio Plus and Premium, will be able to purchase API add-ons if they need capacity above the included limits.
Workflow Automation actions
For Podio Premium customers, the included base limit for Workflow Automation will be adjusted to 25,000 actions per month. Customers with higher automation usage will be able to purchase a Workflow Automation add-on to maintain additional monthly capacity.
Add-ons are optional and prepaid. There will be no automatic overage charges. Additional capacity must be intentionally purchased by the contract owner.
Will my bill change?
The price per seat is not changing as part of this update.
If your usage stays within the included API and Workflow Automation limits and you do not purchase an add-on, your seat-based subscription billing will not change as a result of this launch.
Customers who need capacity beyond the included limits can choose to purchase an optional prepaid add-on. For most customers, we expect little to no billing impact, as standard usage will continue to be included with existing Podio seat-based plans.
Where can I find the new add-on pricing?
New API and Workflow Automation add-on pricing is now available on the Podio pricing page.
No add-on purchase is required today. Add-ons will be available for purchase beginning August 1, 2026 for eligible paid plans.
Customers on Free/Freemium plans will continue to have the included usage limits for their plan, but will not be able to purchase usage add-ons.

How can I review my usage?
We have improved API and Workflow Automation usage visibility to help customers better understand current usage patterns before the new add-on model takes effect.
- API key owners can review API usage from the API Keys settings page.
- Workflow Automation account owners can review automation usage from the Workflow Automation Account Details page.
Please review the usage visibility guide for more details on where to find this information and how to interpret the available usage data.
Note for contract owners and organization admins: API keys and Workflow Automation accounts may be owned by different users within your organization. We recommend working with the relevant employees, admins, integration owners, or Podio Partners to review usage for keys and automation accounts that support business-critical workflows.
Need help reviewing your usage?
If you have an assigned Progress Podio account representative, you can work with them to review usage and understand whether an add-on may be needed.
Customers who already work with a trusted Podio Partner should engage them early to help review usage, optimize workflows, and assess any pricing impact.
Customers who do not currently work with a partner and would like expert assistance can request partner assistance here.
What should customers do next?

We recommend that contract owners, organization admins, API key owners, and Workflow Automation account owners:
- Review available API and Workflow Automation usage information.
